When I take a picture the first time after unlocking, the screen turns black 
and then I have to turn it back on and unlock to get to where I was, but it 
does take picture.  Not sure if this is known or not just throwing in what I've 
noticed.  this is with stock camera and also noticed with Camerazoom.  haven't 
tried any other 3rd party apps.

Comment #5 is not a camera/gallery issue, it's clearly the black screen/system 
sound bug occurring upon focus. 

After completely wiping device and flashing 7.2, I cannot take a single 
picture. I've tried changing flash settings, antibanding settings, and reduced 
size and quality to no avail. 

Process includes opening camera app, tap capture button... immediately receive 
"Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped" error. Logcat included.

Camera is working for me but camcorder crashes immediately when switching from 
camera to video recording. This is the message I receive, "Unfortunately, 
Gallery has stopped". Also I get the same message when selecting gallery inside 
the camera app. 

I'm On The Inspire 4g
Completely wiped device and flashed JellyTime 7.2, GAPPS, and Inspire-Mod - 
Kernel 3.0.42-r7.2 (Not The TEST Kernels)

Camera and video works, but when you start incomprehensible BRAND corellation 
that would fix to lower the quality and then return it back.

Camera still start with reverse look till first shot, if i enable the flash 
phone shutdown itself. i will send logcat stacktrace when i take back my laptop 
from a friend.

Camera starts with wrong orientation. After first photo is clicked it resets to 
proper orientation. But video mode persistently shows orientation problem. 
Also, panorama mode doesn't work properly; horizontal and vertical bars appear 
on the screen. Yeah and delete dialog box in gallery also fluctuates.

all right camera works wonderful with 10.1 except a little problem. in panaroma 
mode, some glitches while recording, but after recording photo looking fine.

While using barcode scanner (and QR Barcode Scanner) there are green "noise" on 
the display while reading the barcode, the same "noise" shows up on panorama 
mode (as reported in Comment 17) although not green.  I have tried to take a 
screen shot of the "noise" but it doesn't show up in the screen shot or in the 
final barcode scan or panorama picture.  So, it is more of an annoyance than a 
actual bug. Running 10.1 downloading 11 right now will report is fixed or not.  
BTW This ROM is Rad.

Got 11 installed and the above glitch or noise is still present....again it 
doesn't affect the picture it only shows up when you are taking the picture or 
scanning.

Nice ROM dude.. But the only simple bug is in panaroma mode.. Some glithes are 
disturbing.. Excluding this thing, the ROM is fantastic...

The issues i'm having are 16:9 sized photo's, it is not present in the camera 
app. And when taking a photo it will make the preview green.

Autofocus when taking a photo in google translate doesn't work, however 
continuous autofocus in google goggles works as usual. R30.

Flash causes a power dip which can cause a shutdown on devices that have old 
batteries and worn out caps/voltage regulators. These things are starting to 
show their age. It is not a software issue.

Experiencing the same issue. When I turn on flash and take a picture. My phone 
shuts down automatically.

Device Details;

HTC Desire HD

If it is because of the old batteries, how come my Desire HD never complain 
with Android HD ROM. I use camera with flash, all the time in that ROM. It 
never shuts down. I don't mean any harm but you can look into fixing this bug. 
It has been driving me off from using this ROM.
