Same issue. Seemed worse when using Chrome but hard to verify.

Full wipe of course. As I said, it's hard to reproduce. Seems to happen when
there's updates in the play store (maybe somehow the notification crashes the
system?).
Will provide logcat when it happens next time.

Hmmm, I googled "Desire HD JellyTime spontaneous reboot" and came here.
Lo and behold I found the exact same circumstances I am encountering. My Desire
HD apparently reboots at random times. But after reading circumstances
involving the Play Store I can confirm this is the case with my phone as well!
After reboot I see the Play Store reported "updates available" (which weren't
there a couple of hours ago. I checked manually)
This might be the trigger for the fatal crash.

I have come to believe that this might all be an sd-card related problem. My
phone randomly "forgets" the wallpaper - the file is still there but it is not
set as wallpaper.
Maybe the crash is caused by the sd card somehow failing and this gives rise to
the problem because of apps I have installed on the sd card. This would explain
the sudden updates after a crash: The apps get somehow corrupted and Play Store
misinterprets this as an older version.
I'm no developer so that's just a guess.
