WIFI unable to turn on 4.2.2 R10 #350

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to turn on WIFI
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
WIFI should be enabled.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.2.2 R10, HTC DESIRE HD

Please provide any additional information below.
I used to use 4.2.2 R9 and WIFI was working perfectly. Updated to R10 today and 
WIFI is not turning on anymore.

The wifi work perfectlly in my DHD runing R10 !  You did a full wipe?

hi, yes I went to ClockworkRecovery done reset full, wipe data/cache, dalvik 
cache then applied the rom.

i have the same problem
done a FULL wipe, and no wifi
appears to be on, but no SSID available and get can not save configuration 
error when trying to configure manually
have had this problem since version 8
i have had to keep reverting to version 7, since both v8, v9 and v10 gives me 
this wifi problem

Tried full wipe 3 times again and restoring R10, no success. Reverted back to 
R9, working wifi

for me 'till now everything works good, I upgraded yesterday so it can take 
some time to reveal all bugs but have no probs with wifi, BT finally works and 
so on...!without any wipe!

Had the same problem with the WiFi.

My phone was s-on and I did not flash the boot.img
This was needed to use the new kernel.

After I did this everything is working great!

Thanks a lot for helping me keep my HD a bit longer :)

I changed country code to US in wifi advanced settings. That worked for me

Here in Germany wifi works, except on channel 12 and 13, wich are missing :-((

changing the wifi country code with wifix solved my sproblem
