Application did not start in my BB 8700c

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Selecting the BBRTM icon gets into an error message white page.
2. Reloaded the application with same results.
3. Hard reset the BB with no success either.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
White screen with the error message listed below.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Alpha 0.1. 
BB 8700c v4.2.196

Please provide any additional information below.  Attach a screen shot if
possible.

Error message is:

org.emerick.rtm.RTMException:Error making HTTP API Request

Are you in data coverage area? 

How does your BlackBerry connect to the internet? Through and enterprise system 
or
cellular provider like verizon?

Yes I'm in data coverage area. My provider is AT&T.

I have updated the HTTP connection code which should hopefully resolve this 
issue.

Please download 0.1.2a and test and let me know if it works out for you.

Downloaded latest. This time after the download, the BB asked to reboot which 
didn't
with first version; however the same  message :
org.emerick.rtm.RTMException: Error making HTTP API Request
