Can no longer scroll

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Access talking dialer phonebook
2. Access applications
3. Access application list when editing the menus

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ability to scroll when tapping the left or right side of the screen.  Instead 
it chooses the item currently showing as if I tapped the center of the screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android ICS

Please provide any additional information below.
Started happening recently, within the last week.  Did the program go through 
an update?  I am hearing a higher pitched voice and various other sounds too.

Please disregard - fixed with turning talkback off and reboot.
