Scintillator assembly #1

I am working on the concept of the SIPM detector assembly and I have solved the possibility of using the same electronics both to connect two fibers on one side of the scintillator and on both sides. Thus, we have the ability to read 2 and 4-channel using the same electronics. The main AFE plate with AFE extension is connected with a 1.27mm ribbon in the aluminum screen. It can have a length from a few cm to 3m. The plates are bolted to the studs protruding from the bottom of the housing by means of 2 M3 screws and spacers. The last thing I have to do is design the fiber optic mount. Currently, the configuration for 2 SIPM, looks like this obraz obraz

The only interface that goes to the hub is USB-C cable obraz

The SIPM with a temperature sensor is placed on a tiny PCB and connected with a thin FFC tape so as not to heat up from the motherboard with the amplifiers and the power supply. And now is the question of how we fix the PCB to the scintillator. It is best that the connector with the optical fiber protruding from the scintillator had a latch or preferably holes to which we screwed our PCB. You can also screw 2 screws next to the scintillators to which we screw the plate. Then the mounting would look like this obraz

First we screw this "cross" and then to it the PCB with SIPM. At the end we fix the FFC cable in the connector and plug the endcap into the scintillator housing.
