Python 3.12 compatability #154

Closed chennin closed 2 months ago

chennin commented 2 months ago

Installing the requirements on Python 3.12 fails with the following, specifically on numpy install. Fix that (update numpy to 1.26.x), test it, see if any other errors/warnings are thrown, and test with Python 3.10 and 3.11 as well, as we still claim our baseline is 3.10 in the README.
