Can you send me the file(s) you were trying to play? I think the non ASCII letters could be the problem.

Hmm. It works for me so it must be a chromecast issue. Can you disable auto-update and try to use https://github.com/elibroftw/music-caster/releases/tag/v4.89.0?

my chrome cast audio still works with spotify.

May I ask what app version you were running before the downgrade? Also I'll let you know when I fix this bug so that you can start using the latest version again.
