Can't see / hear my audio input in standalone #1211

I've installed the standalone Mac version. Set up sees my Behringer interface OK but when I put a signal through (I'm playing a keyboard) there's no sign showing on the meter and I can't hear anything. Interface works fine with Logic & Wavepad. I had exactly the same problem with other online jamming apps (JamKazam, Jamulus). Is it maybe something to do with the Mac OS blocking the input as it's an unapproved developer, I'm running latest Catalina OS?

Load up Logic.

Insert JamTaba as an insert effect on the master bus.

Does it work that way?
