I'm using the jamtaba AU-plugin 2.1.16 (64bits) in Logic Pro X 10.6.1 on macOS 10.15.7 with the iMac (Retina 5K 27-inch 2017) built-in webcam.
when using the standalone version, webcam is working fine after i had granted jamtaba-standalone-app the permission to use my webcam.
but when jamming with friends, I can't use the standalone-version, I have to use the AU Plugin.
jamming itself works fine, but when i hit the webcam button from inside the AU plugin, Logic Pro X crashes, it's simply gone... no app-freeze, no crash-message, just gone... tried a hundred time, always the same...
maybe it's an issue with the webcam permission?
i didn't figure out a way to either force Logic nor the jamtaba plugin to ask for a webcam permission yet,
therefore I can't allow webcam-usage for Logic or the jamtaba plugin.
does somebody have the same problem, or better, got the webcam working?
