A test attempt at moving some of the Product team feature definition and prioritisation into GitHub. The aim is to create more detailed feature definitions, provide more transparent prioritisation and more effective "linking" of product design to development tickets (currently in the xPub project board).
The end of the QC process done once QC is passed. However, instead of making linear we plan to allow flexibility for this to happen at any time so that Deputy Editors can be involved in other stages
Assign to a Deputy Editor at any time
Select from list of Deputy Editors
Show "recommendations" based on subject area
Show who worked on a linked submission or previous version if re-submission etc.
Once assigned, the submission is added to the Deputy Editor's dashboard in the relevant area
