A test attempt at moving some of the Product team feature definition and prioritisation into GitHub. The aim is to create more detailed feature definitions, provide more transparent prioritisation and more effective "linking" of product design to development tickets (currently in the xPub project board).
Building a prototype to test entire QC workflow to test with Ed Office on Wed 5 Jun 2019
Functionality to be designed and prototyped:
[ ] Dashboard with new initial submissions
Perhaps show a large number to see how they might prioritise
[ ] Updated submission details tabs
_Authors suggestions for Editors and Reviewers in different tabs
[ ] Basic commenting support - just one or two as already tested
_Need to update based on above changes
[ ] Edit on the authors behalf and "inform" them
"If you edit something on the Author's behalf would you let them know?"
[ ] Auto-detect duplicate submission
Delete duplicate or link re-submission?
[ ] Expose when an author has self declared an Editor Author
Automatically label the submission? Do they have to do anything?
[ ] Manual labelling feature to flag anything else to others?
Interesting to show them and see if they would actually do anything except for the above?
[ ] Transfer submission to another team/person
Send to Editorial team if any problems?
