Thanks for your message. We're a little delayed. The proposed changes are proving harder to implement than we originally thought, but I do think that Patricia, our head of metadata, and the technical team are getting much closer. I don't know that we have a revised timeline, but we're close to transitioning the research issue above into an implementation task, so I hope we'll have good news very soon. I'll update you when I know more.

Will complete the full spec when this is implemented.
