Please find attached the schema and two sample deposit for linked clinical trials - a resource-only deposit and a full DOI deposit. The changes to our deposit system are just about finished and I will let you know as soon as it is possible to start depositing. Similarly, the schema documentation has yet to be updated.
Also attached is the list of Clinical Trial Registries. The IDs in this file are those that should be used in your deposits. Please take a look at this and let me know if you have any feedback. We have limited the list to WHO primary registries and clinicaltrials.gov.
I will be in touch again next week about the deposit system, but I wanted to get these out to the group so that you have something to start thinking about.
The deposit system changes to allow direct deposit of linked clinical trials metadata have now been made. Those of you who have extracted clinical trial numbers can go ahead and start to deposit. I have attached the schema and sample deposit again for those who need it.
If you are collecting CTNs from authors using the widget you do not need to take any action at this time, unless you wish to also deposit directly. Please all be aware that for the next two-three days any re-deposits will over-write previously deposited trial metadata, until we implement a change to allow it to be accumulative. This should be in place by the end of the week.
We are also working on the changes to the CrossMark pop-up box to allow display of the linked publications with our new in-house UI/UX expert. In the next week or two I will be sending out a meeting request to convene the working group to review deposit progress and preview these changes.
In the meantime please don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you encounter any issues with depositing.
Thank you all for your patience with this project. Now that we have additional resources in place it is top priority and on track to launch before the end of Q1.

Tagging for this info will be added to the CrossRef Schema in Oct 2015:
Register/Registry Registration ID (e.g. ISRCTN68329593) Article Categorisation – refers to pre-result/result/post-result rather than article type.
For our articles with clinical trial info we'll add this in when we do the redelivery.
