An eLife Editor's evaluation sub-article may include a related object which is to be included in the Crossref deposit file as a <rel:inter_work_relation> tag.
This 0.4.0 version of the library will require the latest elifetools (version 0.10.0) library in order to parse the related object XML, and the latest elifearticle (version 0.5.0) library which will populate the related object data. Otherwise some errors may result when trying to generate Crossref peer review deposits.
