Research organism lower case #22

A question to confirm: an article that has research organism "E. coli", when converting to lowercase the pubmed deposit has:

            <Object Type="keyword">
                <Param Name="value">e. coli</Param>
            </Object>

Q. Is this lowercase 'e' for the genus acceptable?

Thanks for spotting that, it needs to be capital E. I will also check the other list of organisms for capitalisation issues

None and Other should not be delivered as a key word. If the keyword is a single letter followed by a full stop and then another word, the single letter should remain as a capital letter. There are 6 of these on the system.
