@FionaBryant Please could I check which version of the preprint we should be using here? There seems to have been a later version than the one we pulled in (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.01.11.523552v3.article-info; we've pulled in the v2) but it's not processed fully on bioRxiv (no text, affiliations truncated), so I'm not sure what's going on.

Maybe this is something we need to check with the authors?

Thanks, I have followed up with the authors to check that V2 matches the version reviewed.

Hi, the authors have confirmed that the preprint text is the same for V2 and V3. The only difference was that for V3 they were trying to upload their supplementary videos (for some reason the text did not appear correctly with this version). The authors wanted to check if we are able to include the supplementary material with the Reviewed Preprint?

Hi @FionaBryant - sadly we still can't display it on our site. They're welcome to add it to their bioRxiv preprint and then we could re-import it, but the supplementary material would only show on eLife's site once the Dev team has added support for it, and we still don't have a timeline on that as far as I know.

If the authors intend to revise their article in response to the reviews, I would recommend they upload the material to bioRxiv then, and in the meantime we just proceed with what we have (e.g. the bioRixv V2).

Thank you, I have followed up with the authors to confirm this, and that we will proceed with using V2 to publish the Reviewed Preprint.

Best wishes, Fiona
