@fred-atherden Reviewer 1's comments include this - can we format it better?

Thanks for flagging @naushinthomson.

@acollings, could you assist with the above please? Presumably the presence of hashtags at the start of the line mean that this is being treated as a header as per markdown formatting. If we were maybe to add a space before the hashtags, I think it would no longer be treated as headers?:

Hi @naushinthomson and @fred-atherden I think Ed Office already saw this was a problem and added spaces. I can see the review has been edited already to add spaces. So perhaps we have to see what it looks like on Monday?

fred-atherden commented 5 months ago

Thanks @acollings, I'm still not seeing a space in the hypothesis comment though, maybe leading spaces are stripped by default by hypothesis? If that were the case I think we'd still run into the issue unfortunately.

Could we try adding a no break space - - instead?

acollings commented 5 months ago

Wow, @fred-atherden I never knew there was a "no break space"! This is what it looked like before so I think something is getting stripped:

I've now tried the no break space...

Thanks Andy - let's see what it looks like on Monday! (Aren't you supposed to be on holiday!?)

acollings commented 5 months ago

Ha, yes, I am, honest :-)

JGilbert-eLife commented 5 months ago

Unfortunately, it looks like the space has still been stripped out of Hypothesis:

Hi @JGilbert-eLife I've just tried something else. Take a look and see if it'll work?!

JGilbert-eLife commented 5 months ago

Looks good to me! I'll need to pull this across again tomorrow.
