red microphone icon not present #26

I'm unable to see the red microphone icon when i click on the blue microphone plugin icon in chrome.I currently use ubuntu 10.10. Can someone help me with this issue?

Does your microphone work for any other applications that make use of it? If not, then this is a driver problem.

skype is working fine so i guess its not an issue with the driver

Anyways Chrome couldn't detect it so you need to file this in the Chromium issue tracker.
