No login detected error. #191

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. access docs.latexlab.org, click 'continue'
2. grant access to Google Docs
3. error message displays

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a list of my docs or a Latex editor. Instead I get an error
dialog in my browser (Firefox & Safari) saying "No login detected. Ensure that
any requests go through the server side, to enforce authentication, rather than
directly to the HTML content."

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?
Firefox & Safari

Please provide any additional information below.
I am a first time user of Latex lab so I'm not sure if this is effecting users
that have already granted google docs access.

Thanks for reporting this error. Unfortunately this is looking like an issue on
the GData side, so we may have to wait for a resolution from the GData team.

I found a workaround to this bug. Apparently, after you receive this error, you
can simply click on the address bar in your browser and press enter, you can
bypass the HTML authentication problem.

An update fixing this issue has been deployed - the cause was AppEngine
related. Let me know if you experience any further issues with authentication.
