tin eating confirmation has no "show log" button

If you open a tin without any tool (which takes time) while your pet is
fighting some monster (which generates messages), when the "Eat it? (y/n)"
confirmation message appears, you can't see what's in the tin. Last time I
had this (with 1.3rc1), my message windows looked like this:

It is not se easy to open this tin. You hear
some noise. You hear some noise. You hear
some noise.
You succeed in opening the tin.
>

So, the "it smells like foo" message wasn't displayed, and I couldn't tap
the show log button (">").
