If home button is pressed after amulet of yendor is offered; eg: during DYWYPI?, upon reentering, the amulet is gone, and you are still standing on the altar, unable to complete the game.

1. Offer amulet of Yendor
2. Quit while prompted for possessions identified
3. Reenter iNethack

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to ascend. Instead, standing on altar without amulet

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using iTouch 3.x.x or something.

Please provide any additional information below.

Yes it happened to me. Not in wizard mode either.

This is an ugly case of issue 166. The solution so far used in the ipad port 
and slashem is to not save when there 
is nothing to save, which in this case would have been equally bad (no game at 
all).
