Adjust isn't all there #172

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Menu>Adjust 
2.Select item to adjust 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An opportunity to select the new letter for the inventory item. I receive the 
prompt, but can't 
change the value. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.3

Is replaced by inventory dragging in the current Slash'EM UI which will 
eventually become the new iNetHack UI.
