flips out if you lock device on a text entry field

sorry for the lame title but "flips out" is the only short way i can think
of to describe it

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. enter text entry (such as entering a wish)
2. lock the device
3. unlock and return to play
note unsure if this happens every time, but has happened twice to me both
coming out of locked text entry if i remember right

What is the expected output?
enter wish and continue playing

 What do you see instead?
after entering the wish i am brought to the select class/race/sex prompts
then the game starts over only with the wished for item and everything you
had previous to the wish, but on top of that you get loaded with 20+ of
every starting item for the class (and in the wizards case massive "you
already know the force bolt spell" spam)at this point the game gets very
laggy and unstable, atempting to drop all the excise items (which would
take a LONG time to do!) results in a crash or the drop command not letting
you select items to drop, followed by a crash a bit latter.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

You say 1.0 but I guess you mean the 1.1-beta1?

nope have yet to install the beta, had a promising game going and wanted to end 
it
(hopefully with ascension for the first time lol) before getting the beta, 
sadly this
bug ended the best game i have ever had lol, and to also give you time to get 
my UDID
email hehe

Sorry for not being able to ascend :( Does this problem occur in the beta too? 
Have
done some wizard mode wishing with quitting while in it and it worked out ok.

have not yet got to wish in the beta but plan to try it out, have tested on 
other
text entry screens and nothing so it may be either fixed, or only with wishing, 
will
let you know.

ok have tried extensively to recreate this in the beta build with no luck, but 
not
sure if i even could in ver 1.0 as this has happened to be twice and i am not 
fully
sure what triggered it. but yah close this if it happens again hopefully i can 
track
it down better
