Slow map travel #72

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Travel all over the map

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The speed can be confusing (disorienting) given the small iphone screen,
though this is the behavior seen in other window ports (Qt).

"Slow travel" should probably an option.

Starting with r181 movement should be a lot smoother.
