Is it possible to have an option in the settings to switch between a double tap
or a press and
hold to activate auto walk?

I kinda agree, but would perfer a option for how fast of a double tap it takes
to
activate it, like a slider for it

There is a slider in the options menu. Home->Settings->iNetHack->Double Tap
Sensitivity. I have mine set all the way down, and it still auto walks more
often
than I want.

Btw setting the slider to min or max disables this so double tapping is back to
the
OS default. Otherwise its values are a fraction of 1s.

setting the slider to min or max disables auto walk on double tap? In beta4 or
in
the new patch? What is the OS default for double tap?
