For context:

For past few days I have been trying to setup vitabu on my mac Android Studio, and run the app through Emulator but I only see Books. Do we have any doc around how to setup and run App for development purpose.

Yes, feel free to add a BUILD_ANDROID.md document to this repo. I suggest writing a high-level explanation on how build and run the Android apps locally.
