When we work together on source code beyond the kernel (here checkpatch.pl will be the base for contribution, also it is most likely not in our github repo), we need to come to a common set of guide and a way of automated check at commit time, so to have a consistent coding style.

Once we have more people contributing code, this will become important, for now, keeping it open to create awareness.
