Hotel Employee Elevator glitch #1094

Hi, I've been progressing through the game until I hit a massive snag in the form of an apparently rare game-breaking bug. It involves the employee elevator in the Hotel. No matter how many items I'm carrying, whether it's none or just the letter and the photo of Mary, the alarm buzzing never goes away and it's preventing me from continuing. I should mention that I'm playing the game on the Steam Deck with the Proton compatibility layer with a copy sourced from certain websites and based on my research, this is not an isolated incident but it is fairly rare. If I could get some help on here I would be forever grateful.

Same exact thing is happening to me without the buzzing. Very frustrating.

Everything looks to be in order with your log. Can you record footage of the issue? I'm not sure what else to check.
