Currently, the first level of the Governance Structure Indicator states:

No formal governance body or structure in place to support the national human genomics infrastructure

Is this language appropriate? Should it be changed to be more Node focused? @serenascollen

Yes - bit vague - is it asking about the Node relationship to support the infrastructure - and how are you defining what is the national human genomics infrastructure?

@serenascollen I think this was an indicator that was taken from the B1MG model. Does there need to be an internal Node governance structure that supports the national infrastructure? If yes, would this be something more than the existing Node governance or the 1+MG NMG?

As for your second question, "how are you defining what is the national human genomics infrastructure?" that's something that I think would be a good question to bring to the whole team. But, I was thinking that which encompasses research and has ties into healthcare, but not directly including data kept at hospitals. I agree that we need to have a clear definition of this, though.
