What topic do you wish to add? Human pathogen genomics analyses the genetic code of disease-causing organisms. This information can be used by researchers and public health authorities to identify and understand the pathogen and by extension to prevent and respond to outbreaks and to develop remedies such as treatments and vaccines.

Context Initial focus: Content related to SARS-CoV-2 genome data management generalised to viruses and bacteria more broadly but still limited to human pathogens. Examples of content:
