I was also wondering why README has links to elixir-lang-core ML and code of conduct (it's from 7700f52b ) Is it just copied from the elixir-lang/elixir repo? Can we drop them? (Then It will be very similar to plug_crypto)

Yes, we should drop those, they are not Elixir core projects. :)
