I like "rails but scales" :+1:
It's a catchy slogan. I like it too. But I think it's not the best approach since rails also scales ... It all depends on how you build it ! I think promotion should be done not bashing any framework/language. My suggestion would be something more like "easy as rails and by default scales"
I think you get the point ;-)

"A friend had recently asked me is it worth developing a web site with Elixir. My (hand-wavy) response is that it depends. If I need to build something quickly, and I'm sure it's not going to scale, I would probably go with Rails, as it is hyper productive, and I can get "there" very quickly. If there was a chance that a site might scale, I'd probably start immediately with Elixir." (Saša Jurić )

It's too early to think about pitches, IMO
I agree that it's too early. Better to focus on tech... Marketing can come when it's truly ready for prime time IMO... Having said that, I am still trying to drum up interest in Weber in elixirsips because I like it a lot so far.
There is a common refrain of "develop your MVP/prototype using Rails then you can migrate it to the JVM once you need it.".
weber could potentially be something you can productively used in rapid prototype development without worrying much about migrating to other platform for scaling. There must be some pithy phrases to describe this somewhere("rails but scales", "no waste framework", etc).
