Our application is specifically designed for users who prefer typing fast and value efficiency in their workflow. The use of single-letter shortcuts is intended to speed up the interaction process, allowing experienced users to execute commands rapidly without having to type full words. We recognise that this approach might present a learning curve, particularly for new users. However, this design decision aligns with our core user base's needs, who prefer a faster, more streamlined command entry over more verbose input methods.
To mitigate the issue you've raised, we have already included the legend in the /help command as well as the User Guide itself, stating everything clearly. Users can quickly reference these as they become familiar with the shortcuts, reducing the need to memorise all commands.

Commands regarding the legend require you to input the corresponding letter, such as
C
for Cheap under prices orW
for Western under cuisine. However, it might be confusing to users as there are multiple overlapping letters, such asS
for South under locations,S
for Spanish under cuisines, andS
for Special Occasions Only under prices. This leaves the user to potentially scramble to remember what keyword is which in whatever order is needed for a specific command, especially for new users. They might have to often have to refer back to the legend, taking up time. This could be solved by allowing the user to input the full word such asSouth
orSpanish
as the full words are often easier for a user to remember quickly than the shortcuts.
