Favourites does not save if the app crashes #8

If the app crashes, a newly added item on favourites does not save.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Add any favourite whether by gift or activity
  2. Crash the app (in this specific case, by using the saying yes to satisfaction of a generated gift as reported in another error)
  3. Launch the app again
  4. Type favourites

Thanks for the feedback!

Unfortunately, our team is unable to recreate the error mentioned here. Despite following the steps listed, we are unable to crash our app. I believe that the issue mentioned in step 2 is from issue #1489, which I believe has already been addressed.

As my team has been unable to replicate and test the issue, we are unable to comment on whether the issue highlighted is valid or not. That being said, we believe that handling the special case of saving data in the event of the app crashing is outside the scope of our project.
