Various 1.1.9 fixes applied

Another compilation of random fixes.

I can't believe how many tests got broken in since the last PR , what a pain in the arse and a senseless waste of time.

• The chrome browser we used in the headless testing was not longer available on the google stable channel, that broke all of the web tests. I updated that BUT that generally comes with problems with the selenium driver
• Current stylelint dropped support for node.js < 14 so that broke all the linters. I moved to a newer version of node.js but there are depreciation notices as they are moving some code "pretty" rules to another linter ... so more pain to come.
• The regular test all failed as one of the images used to check fetching etc had been moved to a new url
• And then there were some actual issues due to the updates.
• Codecov bot is changing and needs new setup / credentials
