We do some PRETTY CRAZY things with SQL. postgresql-simple is clearly at its stretching point - making schema changes requires some involved ctrl+f and click testing. Also, there's quite a few redundant-ish queries.
I've heard good things about opaleye - maybe it's time to migrate to that as a DSL?
