I am a longtime Rhythmbox user and have just started using Byte, and am very pleased to have made the switch so far! It also works much better than the preinstalled Elementary music app for playing files from NAS. Well done and thank you!
The only relatively minor issue I have noticed so far is that, for songs lacking cover art on initial import, the application finds and correctly applies the image to individual songs of an album, but not to the album itself.
Attached are screenshots to illustrate what's happening. As you can see, the image for Daniel Lanois' album Acadie in the main Albums list, as well its larger image in the album detail with track listing just uses the default graphic. However, each of the tracks in the album list, as well as the currently playing track from the album, display the cover art properly.
I am running Elementary 5.1.4, with Byte installed from the AppCenter.
