2D Drawings from model #139

To the engineer the ability to produce high accuracy orthogonal
representations of a model is very useful to check dimensions, small
features and in the case of a ssemblies limits/fits. It would be nice to be
able to generate wireframe (ideally also hidden and nohidden) line
orthogonal views of the 3D models in Heekscad. Ways currently offered by
other packages include arbitary single/multiple views, 3 fixed views,
ability to generate cross-sections etc. As a possible first option would it
be possible to generate a standard zoomable 3 view (e.g. XY, YZ, XZ)
display which could be exported as DXF for tidying?

 Regards

NB should be enhancement, not defect!

The orthogonal view part of this sounds a lot like dan heeks "project solid onto
plane" feature. There was some discussion about this in the mailing list as
well.

If only opencascade had non uniform transforms...
