sky dome background #203

It would be cool if the background shading was related to viewing
angle like a sky-dome.  So looking straight down along the z-axis the
background
color would be uniform light and straight up would be uniform dark.  It
would help
visualizing/orienting in 3-d space.

I'll add this as another background mode.
