Are there any plans to use autoconf/automake on this project?
I was trying to help someone and found out that the makefiles need some work.
I can help autotool it if needed.

That would be great. I would be willing to try an autotools build on my Mac OS 
X machine.

please replace the following files:

Adding         autotools/AUTHORS
Adding         autotools/ChangeLog
Adding         autotools/INSTALL
Adding         autotools/NEWS
Adding         autotools/README

They are the standard files that people look for when they get working on a 
project.

 Committed revision 1043. --- Autoconf looks for the OPENCASCADE directory

HeeksCAD now uses CMake as build system.
