gcode generate produce different things ? #317

Hello,
I created a profile and packet work from heekscad for a circle 20mm, but the 
emc2 had generate for the profile work a cicle 22mm and for packet 19.5, then i 
contact you for ask you if the heekscnc use some compensate and if yes, where I 
can modify this for generate the just gcode for my controller step by step.

I used for this work the default tool table that come together with the program 
heekcnc.

The version of the OS is ubuntu 10.04.

Sorry I forget that the tools used was 3mm diameter.

Hello,

HeeksCNC does tool path correction and it uses 
the tool diameter from the tool table.
So be sure to use the right tool for your operation.

hi if you work with EMC you can also use the CRC postprozessor
EMC with cutter radius compensation  for profile then you can change the tool 
diameter in emc without generating a other toolpath to get your final  
mesurments
