New added Tools dont save after close #320

After i create a new tool, such as a 1/8" endmill, i save the settings, but 
then when i start up heekscnc, that new tool is missing and i have to make it 
again. How do i go about saving a tool so that it will be there everytime i 
load the program? The defualt tools that came with the program show up, but not 
the ones i add.

Any help would be great.

Try 'exporting' your new tool list. Right click on the Tools icon and a pop up 
will give you some choices. You can export as 'default.tooltable' or any name 
you want to give it. You can import tooltables too.

thanks, it worked. I exported a new tool list as "default.tooltable", then when 
i started the program, it opened it.

I think "tools" item should have a save as default option on the right click. 
Also a menu entry "save tool list as default"
