Creation date on empty datetime column cells #2

Hi, I am creating an excel file with possibly empty dates, but it sets the file creation date to the empty fields. The column definition is set to datetime. Is there a way to prevent this?

Nope, guess I've handled the date conversion wrong. Sorry.
