The content is great, and still very relevant, but it was written in Nov 2015 about the release of 0.16.
I think it's confusing for such a prominent link on the homepage to reference an older version of Elm, especially when the low contrast on the blog post date makes it easy to miss.
I'd be happy to make a PR to add a static page in here, which plagiarizes @evancz 's blog post, but doesn't specifically call out the version (for the sake of future proofing).
