@elmacartney and @mlagisz here are something to discuss and resolve (@szymekdr - welcome to chime in)

4 Questions in the MS

1) What are the broad research patterns unifying the SR literature on non-genetic inheritance across disciplines, such as the most common types of environmental exposures and descendant traits examined, and are there any gaps in the literature? - It seems like this is done

2) Are there discipline-specific research patterns including commonalities and disparities between disciplines and what are the patterns of the terminology used within and between disciplines? - We need to work on this although it seems to be also addressed to some extent

3) How are authors of the SR literature connected across different countries and disciplines?
- I think we covered the country but not disciplines

4) What is the reliability of the SR literature? - We have done this

@itchyshin

I think "Unclear" is important in all analyses - I the paper is to identify gaps, these that are unclear can point to (1) problems we can indicate and suggest ways to resolve/better place in the context of current literature; (2) new emerging areas where non-genetic inheritance may gain traction later.

The areas should also probably be linked to methodological issues that will introduce variation in observed strength of non-genetic effects (type of genealogical links use, duration of analysis, maybe broadly speaking life-history patterns (e.g. fast or slow) of the studies taxa?)

@szymekdr - excellent point!

I am planning to go through these classifications with @elmacartney and @mlagisz - I am interested in what these "Unclear"s are.

@elmacartney - for the meeting please make sure we can have a look at these papers labelled "Unclear" so we can chat about them.

Thanks
