Unable to start Pocketwit #77

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

When I start Pocketwit version newer than 0.48, it crashes shortly after
launching the update checker. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting etc. and
no releases later than 0.48 will work. If I uninstall and go back to 0.48
it works fine.

My phone is a HTC Touch Pro running Windows Mobile 6.1, its unbranded and
unlocked and being used on the AT&T Network in the US.

This is most likely due to the OutOfMemoryException being thrown when creating
the
rendering buffer. Most users are able to run it if the soft-reset and run
PockeTwit
immediately after.

My current priority is finding a way to reduce the use of graphics memory and
maintain the smooth-scrolling that the new buffer code gives me.

I'll second this; I have an HTP Touch Pro (Verizon CDMA version) and I have the
same issues.

I'll third this. I have an HTC Touch Diamond (Sprint CDMA version) with the
same
issue.
