Facebook integration? #88

Is there going to be any integration with Facebook? It would be great if I
could toggle between the who I follow on twitter to my friends on Facebook.
 Thanks!

Just an option to post updates to Facebook would be great...

Why not just use the Twitter Application in Facebook? It seems to work fine
for me.

Oh, I see. You want to be able to post status updates without posting to
Twitter.

I kinda have mixed feelings about this one. The ap could start to get bloated
if it
starts to get out of focus of what it was originally designed to do.

That being said, it's not a horrible idea.

I'm keeping this here, but I have to admit the probability of implementing it
is very
low. Facebook's API is very different, and it would be a major effort to
integrate
with PockeTwit.

What about just pulling the UI from PockeTwit and using it to create a
standalone
Facebook app. I know many people (including myself) would like to be more
integrated
than that, and have facebook support built into PockeTwit, but if that does
make it
too bloated creating a new app could also work.

I don't know how difficult that would be, but presumably since the UI would
largely
already be designed and built, and accessing facebook is just a matter of
working
with the API it shouldn't quite require "reinventing the wheel".

Just a thought.
