S8home fixes #50

A series of fixes and usability tweaks that were implemented/discovered in the first part of setting up the home site for sbstr8.

Added nice new logo
Tailwind colors are now created as CSS variables (for easy manipulation during theme creation)
Override mechanism extended to handle noncomponents, notably including the child objects in @/sbstr8/lib/default.
Some pages now correctly pull their defaults from @/sbstr8/lib/default whereas before they used .tsx-local constants

More changes will be released as part of the creation of s8home. 'paving the cowpaths'

forcing merge because the lint complaint is about the quality of the commit messages. Not wrong, but also not a reason to block.
