University Schema #1

We should add current and forward thinking schema that a University is based on to get started. Colleges, academic units, hr, registrar, bursar, student government, faculty senate, administrative units, etc. that comprise a University at this point, but perhaps not in the future. How do we choose what to add or keep. Perhaps there are liberal arts versions, vocational versions, life-long learning, AI assisted universities with "thought hubs" as proposed in the Stanford2025 exhibition. Can we also do this for the government ;)

We start small, setting up everything to basically produce your own Coursera but I like this model of where we can go and how in the future we can automate all of these things.

As you are aware of our jenkins server, another piece to this is to integrate with a Cloud vendor API. You setup an account at Digital Ocean or whatever, copy and paste a line (that includes you DO API credentials) and it sets up lots of servers for you automatically, networking them together. These systems could then be name-spaced and deployed in a way that mirrors the above-ground infrastructure that you mention, the human infrastructure of the organization.

If Jenkins were setup as part of this routine and given authority to setup things via Digital Ocean / other, then we could basically pass in a series of tokenized calls to establish individual learning networks for the entire institution, one per "Thought hub" as you say. This would setup servers, tune them, all that jazz, as well as request and provision domains accordingly.

This is one of many 2020 initiatives, 2025 is too far away ;)

Well, there is no reason not to take this idea to it's logical extreme. A digital university with remote faculty, staff, and students. It could auto post jobs (or reduce work hours) as the AI sees a need based on growth factors. The mission statement could essentially program how the University works.
